Experienced cyclist/runner currently putting more hours in the pool to build swimming strength/confidence. These shorts have medium buoyancy somewhere between my tri-suit (minimal) and BlueSeventy sprint wetsuit (quite floaty). Allows me to focus on form and distance without sinking/tiring as quickly.

They’re floaty britches. They do what they’re supposed to do.

Even though I got the XL, the waist line is too short. Unfortunately, I ordered a second pair without testing mine first in the water. Even though I love the shorts, they are cut very short on the waist-line/ hips, so i constantly need to pull them up, even though they are tight around the waist/ hips, they slip down, and reveal my "plumbers-crack". I noticed it does the same, with someone else on the Master Swim Team.

Quite surprised how much I like them. They are fantastic. Fit great and have reduced my pool swim pace by 20-40 seconds per 100 yards.

So thankful to have these. I had wanted to purchase practice shorts for pool practice and was thrilled to get these. They are a wee bit small so I am working to trim down so I can feel more comfortable and enjoy them.

Heard about your company from some fellow swimmers. The chubby mermaids. I already have a wet suit but wanted shorts. Since I trust the reviews of those ladies I had to check out the website. You had men’s buoyancy shorts in my size (I hoped) ordered them at a great sale price. They arrived quickly. And fit perfect. Have worn them several times already. I will be passing along the word about blue70

Love these!! Great for open water swimming and super comfortable. Great quality. Good buoyancy. I was worried because I’m a woman and they are so low rise, but they do not slip down. The only bummer is that the drawstring got pulled into the shorts and I can’t find the one end again. I ordered a small and I’m 5’4” 120lbs.

Shorts help to keep my lower torso high in the water.

Love them. Comfortable

I bought this on website sale. Overall fit is snug and truly helps lift hips and lower body in the water. It has a low waist cut which I personally don’t like as the shorts set below my hips during swim. The thin nylon ribbon easily comes untied. This creates a tendency for the shorts to pull down during swim especially after pushing off wall. Replacing the drawstring with a thicker cord and cord lock helped some.

Legs needs to be tight

This is not my first pair - I love the look, feel and fit.
